Why the West End?
The four West End Churches are located in the heart of London: in Soho and Covent Garden. This part of the
town is one of the busiest areas of the city. It is a popular area for meeting up, socialising and drinking as
well as drugs and sex. People gather in the restaurants, bars and clubs, looking for entertainment.
Individuals wander through the streets seeking "a good night out". That's why these Catholic Churches
have a unique mission to reach out to those 250,000 people who pass by every day. We know that the full
answer to life's questions and human desires is in Christ. Let's not keep quiet but share the Good News!
